Our most recent event took us to Bookends in Wokingham on Wednesday 16^th June 2010.

Gerry enjoyed making new friends and would like to make a special mention to Ethan Saiprasad, Ethan Dolan, Ted Brown, and Naomi who all took part in the prize draw. Well done Ethan Dolan who won a Gerry Giraffe T Shirt. Gerry had great fun! It was such a pleasure to meet you all.

We hope to visit again soon when our new set of books will be launched. Watch this space now....

Saturday 12^th June Chapter One Books Hythe.

What a beautiful day we had in Hythe on Saturday 12^th June 2010, when we visited Chapter One Books in the High St.

Thank you Grant for inviting us to your store to promote ‘The Travelling Adventures of Gerry Giraffe’.

We had a really lovely time, the weather was so perfect we decided to go walkabout. Gerry attracted a lot of attention and it wasn’t long before we gathered an audience for story time.

We made some new friends who all took part in our free prize draw. Congratulations to Shannon who won a T shirt and Gregory who won a hat, with a special mention to Megan and Gemma.

Find out what happens when Gerry Giraffe meets the Loch Ness Monster and is mistaken for the Loch Ness Monster himself!

Gerry visits Rome, buys himself a roman helmet, makes a wish in the famous Trevi Fountain, and visits the Sistine Chapel; admiring the ceiling covered with paintings from the famous painter and creator Michaelangelo!

Gerry visits London, meets the Queen and is invited to tea, enjoys a splash in Trafalgar Square and gets himself into a bit of bother on stage to the amusement of the audience!

The books have delightful illustrations that will captivate youngsters from 3-8 years.

We are in the process of creating our own musical DVD, watch this space, coming soon late Summer 2010.
